Responsibilities
- Ensure supervisors understand and follow all safety policies while fostering a culture focused on zero incidents.
- Coordinate production workflows with warehouse, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams to maximize equipment utilization and output efficiency.
- Lead daily production meetings to align team objectives and track progress.
- Analyze quality, maintenance, and operations reports to identify root causes of deviations and production issues.
- Collect, distribute, assess, and act on key production performance metrics.
- Measure current UPOH levels and develop strategies to reduce them over time.
- Manage direct labor spending within established budget limits.
- Adjust production schedules and priorities in response to customer demands, equipment breakdowns, or operational challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering staff to modify machinery and equipment for improved output and product quality.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve production processes using Six Sigma and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Ensure corrective actions for process issues are implemented promptly and verified for effectiveness through audits.
- Verify that all equipment is operated and maintained according to safety standards.
- Promote a clean and organized work environment to support safety and efficiency.
- Perform regular 5S audits to evaluate workplace organization and cleanliness.
- Ensure findings from 5S audits are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Make sure employees understand customer-specific and internal quality requirements and standards.
- Establish quality expectations that support consistent production flow while meeting or exceeding quality benchmarks.
- Maintain employee compliance with ISO standards and related procedures.
- Lead site operations to achieve targeted production output and meet operational targets.
- Set performance goals aligned with departmental or organizational standards.
- Assess training needs and implement a structured, long-term development plan for staff.
- Evaluate current equipment capabilities and recommend upgrades or changes to support site goals.
- Assign personnel to shifts and workstations based on production demand and capacity planning.
- Identify and resolve issues in production processes or standard operating procedures.
- Review operational objectives with team members to ensure alignment and understanding.
Responsibilities

- Conduct Daily Production meetings.
- Review and analyze quality, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems.
- Compiles distributes, evaluates, and actions production metrics.
- Measure and develop plans for reductions in UPOH
- Manage Direct Labor to budget parameters.
- Develop and revise production schedules and priorities as a result of customer requirements, equipment failure, or operating problems.
- Consult with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
- Lead the identification of continuous improvements to production processes, utilizing Six Sigma and lean manufacturing techniques
- Ensures process corrective actions are addressed in a timely manner and are effective, including conducting audits of effectiveness.

- Assign employees to work schedules, and work centers, and plan appropriate levels based on production needs and capacity.
- Troubleshoot processes and/or procedures.
- Review site operations goals with department employees.
