Responsibilities
- Remotely supervise daily warehouse functions such as receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and handling returns
- Assess and restructure warehouse layouts, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and capacity for growth
- Create and enforce standardized operating procedures, performance metrics, and operational benchmarks across warehouse activities
- Collaborate with on-site staff and external logistics partners to maintain consistent and reliable operations
- Detect inefficiencies in processes and lead ongoing improvement efforts
- Guide the deployment and refinement of inventory management platforms and warehouse technology tools
- Ensure precise tracking and reporting of inventory levels at the SKU level across multiple locations or systems
- Design and manage inventory control protocols, including regular cycle counts, reconciliation, and audits
- Examine inventory patterns and operational data to refine forecasting, restocking, and fulfillment precision
- Work with teams across departments to strengthen inventory planning and operational scalability
- Oversee shipping operations, freight management, carrier partnerships, and logistics execution to ensure timely and economical delivery
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics between warehouse functions and customer delivery schedules
- Track shipping performance, delivery timelines, and transportation expenses while identifying areas for improvement
- Manage the full lifecycle of return merchandise authorizations and warranty handling for customer-deployed hardware
- Act as the central contact for resolving escalated customer service issues related to hardware shipments, returns, replacements, and delivery discrepancies
- Lead initiatives to improve operations, such as warehouse reconfigurations, system migrations, and logistics upgrades
- Build adaptable operational models that support business expansion and increasing customer demand
- Coordinate with executive leadership, finance, customer success, and technical teams to align operational goals
- Develop dashboards and performance reports to monitor warehouse and logistics KPIs
- Lead and support teams responsible for warehouse operations, vendors, and cross-functional execution groups
- Define clear performance expectations, accountability measures, and operational standards
- Foster a culture focused on operational excellence, responsiveness, and continuous process refinement
- Deliver training and guidance on warehouse management systems, inventory procedures, and logistics best practices
- Collaborate with implementation teams to verify hardware delivery timelines, confirm successful deliveries, and ensure shipment accuracy and completeness
