Responsibilities
- Oversee the outbound schedule to guarantee collection times are achieved efficiently.
- Direct Supervisors and Team Leaders to maintain a consistent flow of outbound tasks and ensure all orders are fulfilled completely and on time.
- Serve as the first point of contact from the gatehouse upon vehicle arrival at the site.
- Promptly escalate operational issues to the Shift Manager to reduce schedule interruptions.
- Actively contribute to the operations team by proposing solutions that enhance efficiency, quality, and customer focus.
- Maintain regular contact with customers to prevent delayed collections and delivery shortfalls.
- Prepare a comprehensive handover for the incoming shift, detailing current status, potential concerns, and key reminders.

- Being the initial point of contact from gatehouse following vehicle arrival to site.
- Communicating issues to Shift Manager in a timely manner to minimise disruption to the schedule.
- Participating as an active member of the operations team, and to offer suggestions for solving problems, improving efficiency, customer and quality focus.
- Maintaining good communication with the customer to ensure late collections and delivery failures are avoided.
- Producing a thorough, detailed handover to the following shift highlighting potential issues, reminders and current state of play.

- Working hours: 4 on 4 off days, 06:00 - 18:00
- Shift includes managing inbound receipts and outbound volumes
- Role involves communication with warehouse operatives, Shift Supervisors, and Shift Managers
- Must ensure collection times are met and orders completed on time and in full
