What You'll Do
Lead the identification and evaluation of operational risks across departments to support informed decision-making. Conduct regular Risk and Control Self-Assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls.
Develop, track, and refine Key Risk Indicators to monitor risk exposure over time. Maintain the Operational Risk Loss Register by accurately documenting and categorizing loss events, ensuring timely reporting and follow-up.
Oversee operational risk incidents from initial logging through investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution. Manage third-party risk by assessing vendors and outsourced providers, reviewing service-level agreements, and validating compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.
Support due diligence for new vendor onboarding and monitor dependencies on critical external services. Identify concentration risks and recommend actions to reduce vulnerabilities. Prepare and deliver risk reports for leadership and governance bodies, highlighting emerging issues and control gaps.
Drive risk awareness through training and guidance, helping teams understand and manage their risk responsibilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of experience in operational risk, risk management, or a related field
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and control evaluations
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and risk reporting practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate risk concepts clearly to non-risk stakeholders
