About the Role
This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems within mission-critical environments. The engineer ensures uninterrupted operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in critical facilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Respond to system alarms and emergencies promptly
- Maintain accurate logs and operational records
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Support facility uptime through proactive system management
- Assist in implementing energy-saving initiatives
- Work with contractors during equipment installations or repairs
- Follow lockout/tagout and safety procedures rigorously
- Operate building automation systems for optimal performance
- Conduct equipment startups and shutdowns as needed
- Perform water treatment and air quality monitoring
- Maintain fuel storage and backup power systems
- Inspect fire protection systems regularly
- Assist in emergency response and disaster recovery procedures
- Ensure proper operation of chillers, boilers, and cooling towers
- Manage spare parts inventory for critical systems
- Follow change management protocols for system modifications
- Support audits and regulatory inspections
- Participate in training programs for safety and technical skills
- Document maintenance activities and work orders
- Coordinate with engineering teams for system upgrades
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical spaces
- Adhere to facility access and security policies

Work Arrangement
