About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design scalable and secure infrastructure solutions on OpenShift
- Lead technical strategy for virtualization integration in container platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with product goals
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption paths
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations for new features
- Document architectural decisions and share best practices
- Support troubleshooting of complex system issues
- Guide integration of virtualization technologies with Kubernetes
- Ensure solutions meet performance and reliability standards
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Advocate for improvements in system observability and automation
- Work with upstream open source communities on feature development
- Define requirements for infrastructure tooling and APIs
- Mentor engineers on architectural best practices
- Contribute to long-term roadmap planning
- Analyze customer use cases to inform design decisions
- Ensure compatibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Optimize resource utilization in virtualized workloads
- Promote consistency in deployment and configuration management

Nice to Have
- Advanced degree in a technical field
- Direct experience with OpenShift Virtualization
