Oowlish Technology is hiring a Fractional CTO to provide strategic technical leadership for startup and AI-driven teams. In this part-time, advisory role, you will partner with founders and technical teams to build and scale their core technology products.
What You'll Do
- Develop and oversee technical strategy and product roadmaps for multiple ventures
- Architect scalable, robust systems and cloud infrastructure
- Provide hands-on guidance on software development practices and system design
- Evaluate and advise on technology stack selection for new and existing projects
- Mentor and upskill engineering teams, fostering technical excellence
- Assess technical risks and ensure solutions align with business goals
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar senior technical leadership role
- Background in both early-stage startup environments and scaling technology
- Deep expertise in AI/ML product development and integration
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to founders and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures
Nice to Have
- Experience working as a fractional or consultant CTO for multiple companies
- Background in venture capital, technical due diligence, or startup acceleration
- Hands-on proficiency with modern AI/ML frameworks and MLOps
- Network within the startup and investor community
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. Candidates must be based in the United States, with preference for those in New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, or Dallas.
