Responsibilities
- Prepare and arrange kitchen and serving areas to support efficient operations and visually appealing food displays, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and client expectations.
- Take guest orders, explain menu offerings, serve meals buffet-style or plate by plate, and restock self-service stations as needed while maintaining presentation and hygiene.
- Monitor food safety during service and storage, address guest concerns promptly, accommodate dietary restrictions, and maintain cleanliness of dining and service zones.
- Set up and organize bar spaces for optimal workflow, including inventory management and supply readiness for drink preparation and service.
- Prepare drink ingredients such as slicing fruits and garnishes, mix beverages using various liquors, mixers, and additives, and contribute to developing specialty drinks or bar menus.
- Take drink orders from guests or staff, serve beverages consistently and efficiently, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences and menu options.
- Deliver friendly, engaging guest interactions, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and positive experience throughout the event.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, glassware, and service items, and verify IDs to comply with legal drinking regulations.
- Clean and sanitize bar and service areas regularly to uphold hygiene and visual standards during and after events.
- Unload event equipment from vehicles and set up tables, chairs, and service stations according to event plans and client specifications.
- Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and free of clutter, meeting both client and company standards for presentation and safety.
- Attend pre-event briefings to clarify responsibilities and address potential challenges, ensuring smooth execution.
- Dress according to uniform guidelines and be fully prepared before guest arrival, including wearing required apron and gear.
- Follow event timelines to prepare, serve, and replenish services, adapting as needed to changing conditions or instructions.
- Maintain attention to detail and proactively solve problems to align event execution with client expectations.
- Interact with attendees professionally, answer questions, provide information, and add personal touches to enhance guest experience.
- Take scheduled meal breaks as directed by the onsite supervisor.
- Perform post-event cleanup, pack equipment, and remove waste in accordance with venue, client, and rental partner requirements.
- Follow all company and event-specific safety and quality protocols without exception.
- Support kitchen, service, and event staff as needed to ensure seamless operations and high standards in food and service delivery.
- Respond to direction from event leads, kitchen supervisors, or venue coordinators promptly and professionally.
- Act as a reliable and collaborative team member, contributing positively to team culture.

Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in hospitality settings such as restaurants, hotels, or catering, with direct event service experience required.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work well in teams.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs and event schedules.
- Capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and remain on feet for extended periods during shifts.
- Proficiency in using computers and related technology for communication and task execution.
- Tolerance for variable environmental conditions including noise, temperature changes, and indoor or outdoor settings.
- Ability to navigate different terrains, climb stairs or ramps, and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, pushing, and pulling as needed.
Nice to Have
- Prior bartending experience and current TABC certification are advantageous.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Google Drive and Microsoft Office applications.

Compensation
Base pay of $22 per hour, commensurate with experience. 1099 contractor.
