Role Overview
This position delivers essential technical support for medical endoscopic systems directly within hospital environments. Working closely with Sterile Processing Departments, Operating Rooms, and Biomedical teams, the specialist ensures that critical equipment remains functional, properly maintained, and ready for surgical use.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver in-person assistance to clinical staff for setup, operation, and troubleshooting of video towers and endoscopic systems
- Inspect, diagnose, and manage repairs or replacements for endoscopic instruments and associated devices
- Support post-procedure workflows including cleaning, sterilization, packaging, and transport of used instruments
- Identify technical issues in real time during surgical procedures and implement effective solutions
- Track and report equipment status, coordinate repair cycles, and manage exchange logistics
- Maintain accurate records using digital tools and support documentation processes
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should have prior experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, or a related medical support role. Strong organizational abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently are essential. Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary for reporting and data tracking. The role demands physical capability to lift or move equipment up to 25 pounds and requires passing a drug screening as part of safety protocols.
Preferred candidates may hold an Associate's degree or possess CRCST certification, demonstrating advanced commitment to the field.

Work Environment
