About the Role
Deliver personalized math instruction to students in engaging one-on-one sessions using provided materials and structured lesson plans. Support student progress through consistent teaching, feedback, and collaboration with an academic team, while benefiting from training, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive and effective one-on-one math lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Follow prepared lesson scripts and use provided teaching materials without needing to develop original content.
- Teach core math subjects including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and logical reasoning to build strong foundational skills.
- Monitor student development and share progress updates with the academic team.
- Enhance lesson delivery and student engagement through continuous improvement practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrate C1-level or higher English proficiency with a clear and neutral accent.
- Show genuine enthusiasm for teaching and making math enjoyable for children.
- Have a minimum of six months of experience teaching school-aged children.
- Possess at least a high school diploma and solid high-school-level math knowledge.
- Be proficient in math topics covered in grades K–8 curriculum.
- Display patience, empathy, and strong communication abilities.
- Be available to work at least 20 hours per week, primarily on weekdays.
