About the Role

Daiichi Sankyo Group is hiring an Oncology Territory Manager for Hematology & Supportive Care to represent our oncology portfolio in the Kansas City MO territory. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving sales objectives by promoting product features and building relationships with a key customer base. Daiichi Sankyo is dedicated to creating innovative pharmaceutical therapies to address unmet medical needs globally.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve or exceed sales objectives by promoting product features and benefits to key accounts including academic institutions, hospitals, infusion centers, hematologists, and other providers.
  • Build relationships with customer base and key opinion leaders by visiting them, educating and influencing physicians and healthcare providers to prescribe promoted products.
  • Communicate products' approved indications, advantages, features and benefits in a fair and balanced way in individual and group settings.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests, maintain a current key customer target list, and plan calls to meet goals.
  • Carry out all sales and marketing programs and maintain frequent correspondence with the District Manager, co-promotion team members, CARE team members, and counterparts.
  • Comply with applicable laws in providing healthcare providers with accurate information concerning products.
  • Participate in assigned training and complete outside reading to keep abreast of products, applications, market conditions, and competitive activities.
  • Serve as a disease state expert and provide a high level of product expertise and customer service for all accounts.
  • Maintain all equipment and territorial records and utilize sales force automation system to enhance impact of sales call and territory management.
  • Submit complete reports on-time and communicate relevant marketplace, competition, and marketing information to the District Manager.
  • Notify Medical Affairs Pharmacovigilance immediately of any product complaints.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 4 or more years overall pharma or healthcare related experience
  • 1 or more years sales/marketing experience in the pharmaceutical or medical industry
  • Must be able to travel up to 60%
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company requirements

  • Specialty, rare disease, and/or oncology experience
  • Experience selling in complex environments

Team & Environment

Reports to a District Manager and works closely with co-promotion team members, CARE team members, and counterparts across the district and region.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $126,000.00 - $189,000.00

Work Mode

This is a local, city-based role requiring regular travel within the Kansas City MO territory.
