CVS Health is hiring a Licensed Psychiatric & Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Remote

CVS Health is looking for a Licensed Psychiatric & Family Nurse Practitioner to join MinuteClinic Virtual Care. In this full-time remote role, you will independently deliver holistic, evidence-based care through a remote technology platform. You will be responsible for assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management for patients ranging from 18 months and above, with a focus on both acute care and behavioral health services.

What You'll Do

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, health counseling, and disposition planning.
• Evaluate primary care, acute, and chronically ill patients, providing healthcare education and counseling for patients 18 months and older.
• Conduct patient counseling on topics including pregnancy prevention, STI prevention/safer sex practices, and contraceptive care.
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries.
• Document all patient care within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) according to policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care with internal and external colleagues to ensure the highest standard.
• Work effectively within a patient care team, including fellow Providers, Collaborative Physicians, and Pharmacists.
• Prioritize tasks, solve problems independently, take initiative, and advocate for patients.
• Serve as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives.
• Provide insight for program development and process improvement as a key expert in acute and behavioral health.
• Provide oversight of behavioral health care quality and training for new providers.

What We're Looking For

• A current, unrestricted license in Tennessee and/or Texas.
• Willingness and ability to obtain additional state licensure.
• Must be FNP and PMHNP certified.
• Master’s Degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in Advanced Practice Nurse roles.
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent.
• Access to high speed/broadband internet connectivity.
• Ability to uphold patient privacy per CVS Health guidelines.
• Proficiency in both speaking and writing in additional languages, such as Spanish, may be required depending on market.
