Electronic Modular Services (EMS) Ltd, part of Kidde Global Solutions’ Commercial Fire Business Unit, is looking for two Junior Pre-Sales Engineers to join our Field Support Team. These customer-facing roles are central to our wireless fire alarm system installations. You will work closely with regional sales and support teams, conducting site surveys and building relationships with key partners.
What You'll Do
- Conduct site (radio) surveys for wireless fire alarm system infrastructure
- Produce detailed survey reports and coverage drawings
- Support the sales team by preparing project quotations
- Assist with local product roadshows, exhibitions, and customer training days
- Support customers with FireCell text programming information
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with electrical contractors and fire alarm installers
- Identify and support new business opportunities in coordination with the Business Development Manager
- Act as a liaison between customers and the EMS Key Accounts team
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of the UK fire detection and alarm industry
- Understanding of installation standards (e.g., BS5839)
- Full UK driving license
- Strong computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a similar technical or pre-sales support role (around 2 years)

Work Mode
This is a local-country role with positions based in two regions: Southern UK (near M25) and Northern UK (Manchester area). Regular travel within the assigned region is required.
