Teasdale Latin Foods is seeking Entry-Level Production Associates/Machine Operators to join our team. In this role, you will operate production equipment and produce quality products with minimal waste. This is a permanent replacement position where we provide the necessary training for success.
What You'll Do
- Prepare machines to start a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning, and other activities.
- Monitor and properly adjust machine settings.
- Supply raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
- Conduct regular tests to check machine operation.
- Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.
- Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Create and maintain activity logs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area to help prevent trips and falls.
- Follow all safety rules.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Must be available to work 1st or 2nd shift when assigned.
- Must be physically capable of lifting associated with this job (50 lb limit).
- Must be able to obtain a forklift license and abide by the forklift rules.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluid English.
- Must be a responsible, self-motivated, punctual & reliable individual, capable of operating high-speed equipment and efficiently controlling the line flow.
- Must work as a team member within the area as necessary to optimize the area’s overall performance.
- Must exhibit safe work habits and behavior so as not to jeopardize the safety of themselves or others in the area.
- Must be able to achieve production standards.
- Must abide by the Teasdale Foods, Inc. standard for grooming appearance and work habits.
