Merck is hiring an Oncology Territory Manager to deliver on revenue growth targets by executing brand objectives through innovative strategies and customer engagement. This field sales role promotes Bavencio and Tepmetko and serves as the primary liaison between customers and EMD Serono.
What You'll Do
- Strategically prioritize tasks to enable faster delivery of medicines and help create, improve, and prolong patients' lives.
- Drive revenue by achieving quarterly and annual sales objectives through innovative strategies.
- Build relationships with key healthcare professionals, practices, and hospitals.
- Develop local and national KOLs and gain market insights.
- Maximize individual potential and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Participate in field coaching sessions focused on account plan execution and competency development.
- Analyze data and trends to prepare and communicate effective plans.
- Engage in ongoing training for product knowledge and collaborate with internal teams.
- Maintain strong communication with the Area Business Director (ABD) and demonstrate proficiency in business planning.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Valid driver's license.

- Experience in Oncology Sales and an in-depth understanding of the oncology landscape.
- A record of consistently driving and maintaining strong results.
- Marketing experience developing programs and materials for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Strong expertise in reimbursement and managed care knowledge.
- Experience selling a multi-product portfolio.
- Understanding of current pharmaceutical and promotional compliance guidelines.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

You will be a key member of a high performing team including Marketing, Managed Markets, and Medical, reporting to the Area Business Director (ABD).
