Sanofi/Genzyme Corporation is hiring an Oncology Area Business Manager to achieve sales objectives in the Alabama-FL Panhandle territory. In this role, you’ll build and maintain key customer relationships, execute strategic business plans, and drive the appropriate use of our oncology portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Develop and use a quarterly business plan aligned with marketing strategies through territory analysis and customer insights.
- Implement plans by leveraging all appropriate resources with Hematologists, Oncologists, and other key customers.
- Become an expert on products, disease states, and the market to effectively communicate product information.
- Collaborate closely with field partners, including the Oncology Transplant Network Manager and other ABMs, to ensure strategy pull-through.
- Complete call reporting, business plan updates, expense reports, and operate within all Pharma compliance guidelines.
- Implement effective account targeting and time management tactics.
- Attend required training sessions, conventions, and symposia.
- Complete all fleet safety training and maintain an acceptable driving record.
What We're Looking For
- BA/BS degree from an accredited school.
- Minimum two years of Oncology/Hematology sales experience OR one year of previous Sanofi Oncology/Transplant sales experience.
- Ability to think, plan, and act strategically.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to drive a company car safely to daily meetings and appointments.
Nice to Have
- Focus in business or life science.
- Up to 2 years of successful experience selling chemotherapeutic agents or bio-tech products.
- Working knowledge of the hospital and cancer center environment.
Team & Environment
You will work closely with all field partners, including the Oncology Transplant Network Manager (ONM), other Sanofi-Genzyme ABMs, and Medical teams.

- Compensation range: $123,750.00 - $178,750.00
