Responsibilities
- Lead strategic account planning for targeted hospital systems by analyzing patient pathways and identifying key decision-makers.
- Build comprehensive knowledge of oncology and dermatology treatment centers in assigned areas, including stakeholder mapping and patient movement patterns.
- Apply understanding of healthcare dynamics, industry trends, and market access factors specific to oncology and dermatology, including payer policies and pharmacy economics.
- Assist in addressing market access challenges as needed.
- Evaluate product performance within healthcare accounts and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Educate referral networks to help identify suitable candidates and support ongoing treatment with Poteligeo.
- Analyze how patients move between care settings and the influence of institutions on treatment decisions.
- Train referral and co-management networks on current best practices in disease management.
- Use insights on patient flow between hospitals and community clinics to shape business strategies and sales activities.
- Identify potential patients and track follow-up opportunities with healthcare providers.
- Support sustained use of Poteligeo by coordinating multidisciplinary care teams around patient needs.
- Facilitate appropriate transitions to Poteligeo therapy when clinically indicated.
- Maintain awareness of existing and emerging clinical pathways within healthcare institutions.
- Work across departments to create and execute plans that secure formulary inclusion and pathway integration to increase product utilization.
- Deliver formal and informal presentations with clear, compliant communication of complex scientific data.
- Ensure product availability by collaborating with key opinion leaders, providers, pharmacy staff, and P&T committees.
- Stay current with standards of care in oncology and rare diseases, and communicate approved product information accurately.
- Direct all off-label inquiries to the medical department via the MIR process.
- Follow all applicable regulatory, compliance, and company policies strictly.

Compensation
Annualized base salary ranges from $150,000 – $175,000 plus sales incentive; actual salaries will vary and may be above or below this range commensurate with various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, and merit.

The Oncology Account Manager works closely with Market Access, Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs Teams.

- This position will be field based and will require approx. 50% overnight travel depending on territory.
- The ability to safely and successfully operate a motor vehicle is required.
