What You'll Do
As an Oncology Account Executive, you will lead sales efforts for a cutting-edge liquid biopsy platform across the Greensboro, NC region. Your primary focus will be engaging oncologists and cancer care teams through consultative outreach, identifying clinical needs, and positioning advanced diagnostics as essential tools in patient care. You’ll design and execute a targeted business strategy to expand market share and accelerate revenue growth within your territory.
You’ll manage a full sales cycle—from identifying new opportunities to closing deals—while nurturing long-term relationships with key medical stakeholders. Success requires strategic planning, disciplined time management, and a proactive approach to territory development. You will also collaborate with internal teams to align field insights with broader commercial goals.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required. You must have a proven history of exceeding sales targets in medical markets, with measurable achievements such as top performer recognition or consistent quota attainment. Prior experience selling to physicians or clinical providers is essential, particularly in diagnostics, devices, or related healthcare sectors.
You must reside within the assigned territory and be prepared to travel frequently. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities are critical. We’re looking for someone who thrives independently, thinks analytically, and acts with urgency to convert opportunities into results. A consultative mindset and the ability to understand clinical workflows are key to success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with clinical backgrounds—such as Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, or Registered Nurses—who have direct experience ordering advanced cancer diagnostics, particularly liquid biopsies in late-stage disease, will have an advantage.

Compensation
The total compensation range is $241,946 – $311,536 annually at target performance, which includes a base salary of $168,346 – $184,186. Additional earnings come from uncapped commissions, offering significant upside. The package also includes generous equity participation, reflecting long-term value creation.
Work Mode
This is an onsite, field-based role based in Greensboro, NC. You must live within the defined territory and be prepared to travel regularly to meet with providers and support clinical adoption.
