Responsibilities
- Engages with newly hired employees after offer acceptance to guide them through the onboarding journey.
- Leads a high-quality quarterly in-person New Hire Orientation program, managing all aspects from venue coordination to post-event feedback.
- Schedules pre-start day meetings between hiring managers, teams, and new hires, including virtual and live orientation sessions.
- Collaborates with hiring teams to design tailored welcome experiences for incoming employees.
- Develops Quick Start Guides for leadership-level hires in coordination with hiring managers.
- Oversees the creation, personalization, and shipping of onboarding welcome materials and branded swag.
- Conducts both in-person and virtual training sessions, delivering content with confidence and engagement.
- Acts as a cultural ambassador by speaking at internal events such as town halls and onboarding kickoffs.
- Organizes social integration events like happy hours, team-building activities, and milestone celebrations.
- Works with leaders and stakeholders to shape event content that reflects the organization’s values and employment brand.
- Handles full logistical planning for onboarding events, including budgeting, vendors, catering, space, and follow-up.
- Manages all onboarding modules within the HRIS platform, Dayforce.
- Oversees background checks, eVerify, and credentialing procedures for new hires.
- Ensures proper documentation of work authorization per federal, state, and local regulations.
- Trains new employees on how to use the HRIS system, including accessing pay and benefits details.
- Supports new hires in completing required compliance training within established timeframes.
- Coordinates with IT and other teams to ensure timely hardware delivery and system access setup.
- Assists new employees with enrollment and access to additional programs such as travel and expense tools, corporate cards, and internal platforms.
- Creates and maintains review documents at 30 days and manages check-in surveys at 45, 90 days, and annually using Microsoft Office and Glint.
- Maintains and updates internal tracking systems for onboarding progress and key milestones.
- Conducts quarterly reviews of onboarding content to reflect current branding, marketing, and company updates.
- Provides backup support and collaborates on special projects with the Talent Acquisition team.
Other
- Administers relevant background check, eVerify, and credentialing processes.
- Maintains accurate documentation of work authorization in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local law.
