Modivcare is hiring an Onboarding Specialist to own the critical first 30 days of a team member's journey. You'll ensure a seamless onboarding transition by managing pre-employment requirements and maintaining confidential records.
What You'll Do
- Take charge of the new hire onboarding process to ensure a smooth organizational transition.
- Communicate all pre-employment requirements clearly and provide guidance to new hires.
- Monitor and ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks and screenings using platforms like Smartsheet.
- File and organize pre-employment documents within a systematic record-keeping system.
- Conduct check-ins with new hires at 15 and 30 days to address concerns and facilitate integration.
- Perform and track various background checks for pre-employment and renewal purposes.
- Utilize Human Resource platforms including ADP, iCIMS, and i9 Advantage.
- Respond to and process assigned tickets from the internal ticketing system promptly.
- Actively participate in team meetings to foster open communication and collaboration.
- Contribute to the creation and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures for onboarding.
- Maintain access to highly sensitive materials, upholding strict confidentiality standards.
- Ensure maintenance of project productivity and quality goals, striving for continuous improvement.
- Communicate with team members and departmental managers, providing regular updates.
- Participate in other projects or duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma is required.
- Two (2) plus years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An energetic pace and a positive attitude.
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently and with team members.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
