Responsibilities
- Ensure the Manchester office runs smoothly by managing client interactions, hospitality services, and meeting room bookings
- Oversee and coordinate postal and courier services
- Manage office supplies and procurement processes
- Maintain office cleanliness and appearance (e.g., emptying bins, loading the dishwasher)
- Collaborate with IT support to report and resolve equipment issues
- Communicate office information to staff in real-time
- Be prepared to undergo training as a first aider and fire warden
- Build and maintain positive relationships with building reception and suppliers
- Assist the People team with office-related onboarding and offboarding processes
- Track office expenses against the budget
- Maintain an inventory of office furniture
- Act as the primary contact for landlords and soft facility management providers such as plant maintenance and cleaning services
- Provide support with office management tasks for other locations
- Work with the Office Experience Lead to keep accurate records of contacts and certificates
- Promote and support sustainable practices in the Manchester office, aligning with the company's B-Corp certification
- Facilitate collaboration between UK, Irish, and Toronto teams to ensure a consistent experience for staff and support larger local events and team-wide activities
- Organize and lead Manchester's social and cultural activities, and assist with event planning across the UK and Ireland
- Manage regular internal communication channels such as the intranet, newsletters, and local communications
- Support global ad hoc projects for the wider business
Requirements
- Proficient in computer use with experience in G Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
