Health New Zealand seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the permanent Community Services team in Taranaki. This role focuses on providing a broad range of services to clients with predominately physical disabilities throughout the region.
What You'll Do
- Provide efficient, effective intervention for community clients using a compensatory approach.
- Deliver some rehabilitation services connected to this role.
- Commit to quality service delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Appropriate clinical experience working with people with disabilities.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Good computer skills and ability to follow processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of the funding processes for Enable NZ and ACC.
Nice to Have
- Preferably be an Accredited Assessor and registered Housing Assessor, if not eager to learn.
Team & Environment
You'll join the Community Occupational Therapy team.
Work Mode
This is an on-site role based at Taranaki Base Hospital in New Plymouth.
