Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team, serving clients within our Transitional Care Units across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This day shift role, Monday to Friday, is central to our commitment to person-and family-centered care.
What You'll Do
- Conduct client assessments, establishing and evaluating treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans.
- Maintain current, accurate clinical records according to the standards set by the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team as required.
- Communicate pertinent information and recommendations to clients and care providers, providing education on treatment strategies.
- Oversee and guide those assisting in the Occupational Therapy program.
- Maintain active good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- Participate in ongoing internal and external education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore ICS Policies and Procedures.
- Engage in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities and report any risks or concerns.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and corporate information.
- Complete other tasks as requested.
What We're Looking For
- A Master’s Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration and good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
- A valid driver’s license.
Nice to Have
- Three years of experience providing Occupational Therapy services.
- Experience with clinical patient assessments and treatments; knowledge of medical/legal report writing.

You will work under the direction of an Immediate Supervisor within our supportive clinical team.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at our Transitional Care Units across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
