Nuvance Health is hiring a Buyer to procure products and services for the Hospital at the best possible price, quality, and delivery time. In this role, you will act as a critical resource for all Hospital departments, ensuring service excellence and efficient operations.

What You'll Do

Purchase products and services required to facilitate the operation of the Hospital.
Negotiate agreements and contracts that reduce costs and improve general hospital operations.
Use all available resources to obtain the highest quality at the lowest cost and secure pricing agreements.
Create purchase orders using the electronic purchasing system and utilize reports to increase efficiency.
Act as a resource and liaison with all customers and vendors.
Participate in the Clinical Quality Value Analysis program as a liaison between supply chain and clinical staff.
Research and resolve problems relating to back orders, pricing discrepancies, hospital procures, and billing discrepancies.
Demonstrate initiative with customer departments and take a proactive stance in obtaining results.
Maintain and improve knowledge of the purchasing function.
Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
