Corewell Health is hiring a Nurse Tech for our Emergency Room department. In this role, you will act as a vital team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Provider. You will perform basic skills per department guidelines and communicate observations to the health care team.
What You'll Do
- Collect and report physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families in coordination with the RN or Provider.
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of the RN or Provider, consistent with clinical policies and department standard work.
- Provide input in the development of an individualized plan of care.
- Ensure that required documentation is performed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Articulate the nursing technician role to the patient, family, and health team members.
- Provide support to facilitate safe, quality patient care in a cost-effective manner.
- Clean the patient’s environment, work area, and equipment, communicating any malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
- Demonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior.
- Advocate for privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient, staff, and organization data.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, which must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Work Mode
This role works onsite at our SITE - Lakeland Hospital St Joseph location on 1234 Napier Ave in St Joseph.
