Boulder Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Addiction Medicine to deliver medication treatment for opioid use disorder in a fully remote outpatient setting. You'll independently initiate and manage buprenorphine treatment within a structured, team-supported model of care aligned with harm reduction principles.

What We're Looking For
- Reside in one of the following states: AK, AZ, CO, FL, ID, IL, KS, MA, MD, MN, NC, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, VA, WA, WY.
- Hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in your state of residence.
- For residents of Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, or Virginia: must hold designation/licensure to practice independently without physician supervision.
- At least 1 year of experience in an independent, outpatient setting regularly prescribing buprenorphine-based medications, including initiating care.
- Strong patient-centered practice and ability to work autonomously.
- Private workspace with a HIPAA-compliant setup.
Team & Environment
You'll work within a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and peer recovery professionals.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range of $130,000–$140,000 for 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week), with potential up to $145,000 in select high-cost-of-living markets.
- W2 employment with health, dental, and vision coverage.
- Boulder covers up to 100% of monthly premiums for individual coverage and 60% for dependents.
- Vacation: 4 weeks/year (5 weeks after 2 years), plus 9 paid holidays.
- 12 weeks fully paid parental leave (after 6 months).
- Sick leave accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours paid.
- State licensure, DEA registration and renewals, malpractice insurance, and credentialing fully covered.
- For states requiring physician collaboration, Boulder provides and manages the collaborating physician relationship.
- Company-issued equipment provided: laptop, additional monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- Mental health support via Talkspace.
