Responsibilities
- Lead procurement operations for energy commodities including electricity, gas, and oil across the EMEA region.
- Collaborate with the Global Category Head and Regional Cluster Manager on energy service contracts.
- Conduct negotiations balancing commercial value and operational efficiency while adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Uncover opportunities for cost savings and process synergies across locations and functions.
- Guarantee that supplier proposals fully address all business needs and technical specifications.
- Ensure formal contractual agreements are established and maintained for all key suppliers.
- Enhance operational performance through favorable commercial terms achieved in negotiations.
- Align procurement strategies with internal stakeholder requirements and long-term objectives.
- Manage end-to-end purchase order processes using CEOS and SAP systems, including resolution of disputes and coordination with stakeholders.
- Plan and execute tender processes, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts for complex procurement initiatives in coordination with leadership.
- Prepare sourcing documentation, secure required approvals including BPBoC and NDAs, gather financial data, and qualify new suppliers.
- Ensure contracts are finalized, approved, signed, and communicated effectively to all relevant sites within the region.
- Assist in the execution and oversight of strategic procurement projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Driving all related purchasing activities in EMEA region related to Energy (electrical-power, gas, oil,…)
- Energy contracting Services together with the Global Category Head and Regional Cluster Manager
- Drive negotiations considering best commercial and operational aspects and ensure compliance with valid rules
- Identify synergy potential where- and whenever possible
- Ensure full coverage of all business requirements in the received offers
- Drive contractual coverage
- Support operational improvements by negotiating commercial benefits
- Keep alignment between purchasing and internal customer strategy
- Complete handling of the ordering process via CEOS and SAP, including any complaints handling as well as internal and external communication
- Preparing and conducting tenders, offer comparisons, and contract negotiations for complex procurement projects in the defined areas, in cooperation with Global Category Head and Regional Cluster Manager
- Create and compile Sourcing Decisions Sheets, ensure BPBoC and NDA signatures, collect financial and commercial records, identify and develop vendors
- Ensure, that agreements are created, approved and signed and communicate to the plants inside the region
- Support and management of special projects
