Responsibilities
- Lead NPI project planning and execution, managing schedules, milestones, and deliverables from concept through mass production
- Coordinate with hardware, mechanical, software, packaging, and manufacturing partners to ensure alignment with project timelines and early access / mass production plans
- Work closely with contract manufacturers (CMs) to develop build plans, shipping schedules, and track material readiness to ensure on-time delivery
- Own and maintain project schedules, clearly defining milestones, dependencies, and critical paths
- Track action items, monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed
- Lead MP (Mass Production) program management, including follow-up on production issues, cost reduction initiatives, and end-of-life (EoL) processes
- Drive engineering change orders (ECOs), manage product design cycles, and ensure changes are executed and communicated effectively
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and clear process workflows for NPI-related activities
- Conduct cost reviews during NPI stages and drive cost optimization during the design phase
- Act as a bridge between R&D, regional sales, planning, and logistics teams, incorporating beta customer feedback into product planning
- Maintain and evolve product specifications and feature lists, supporting roadmap planning from concept to production
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as an NPI Project Manager / Program Manager
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
Nice to Have
- Engineering background or hands-on experience working with engineering teams
- Experience working with contract manufacturers (CMs) and global supply chains
- Experience managing consumer electronics or hardware products
- Familiarity with cost analysis, BOM reviews, and design-for-cost considerations
