Medtronic was looking for a Nordic Sales Manager Structural Heart

Shape the future of structural heart care in the Nordic markets by leading strategic sales initiatives and building on a foundation of clinical innovation. This position is responsible for defining and executing a clear commercial strategy to grow market share and profitability for a portfolio of minimally invasive cardiac therapies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the annual business plan, setting ambitious yet achievable revenue and expense targets aligned with regional financial goals.
  • Lead market analysis to understand demand, competitive dynamics, and reimbursement landscapes across Nordic healthcare systems.
  • Guide field teams with actionable insights, ensuring alignment between strategy and on-the-ground execution.
  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and procurement bodies to support long-term brand positioning.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor sales talent to build a results-focused, collaborative team.
  • Travel regularly across the region to support customer engagements and internal coordination.

Qualifications

Candidates should hold a degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or a related field. A proven ability to lead sales strategy and manage P&L outcomes is essential. Experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals—particularly where navigating complex sales cycles and healthcare decision-makers is critical—is required.

Leadership skills, fluency in English and a Scandinavian language, and a strategic, data-driven mindset are key to success. Prior exposure to structural heart technologies is advantageous. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with the initiative to drive change and deliver consistent growth.

Compensation & Work Environment

This role offers a competitive salary range varying by country, eligibility for long-term incentives, and access to a flexible benefits program. Work is based locally within the Nordic region, with up to 50% regional travel expected. The culture emphasizes innovation, inclusion, and shared achievement in advancing equitable healthcare solutions.
