Provide remote medical care as a licensed physician serving patients across New Mexico through secure virtual consultations. In this part-time role, you’ll conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, with a focus on long-term health improvement within a structured weight loss program.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual patient consultations using secure telehealth platforms
- Diagnose acute and chronic medical conditions and recommend appropriate treatments
- Prescribe medications in compliance with state regulations and clinical guidelines
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a current and unrestricted medical license in New Mexico and demonstrate experience in virtual care delivery. Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required. Proficiency with EMR systems and a strong commitment to patient privacy and ethical standards are essential. Experience in weight management or related fields is highly valued.
Work Environment
