Melia Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight front desk operations, guest services, and financial closing procedures at one of our 4-star properties. You will ensure a secure, welcoming environment for guests throughout the night.
What You'll Do
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures during the night shift.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing information about the hotel and its services.
- Resolve guest incidents or emergencies that may arise.
- Control access to the hotel and coordinate with security or maintenance personnel as needed.
- Report or resolve minor technical issues with facilities like lighting or air conditioning.
- Perform end-of-day financial closing: review and reconcile accounts, pending payments, and cash counts.
- Prepare daily reports for management and other departments.
- Review and update reservations for the following day.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same or similar role within 4-star hotels.
- Specific training for the position (GS Alojamientos Turisticos, Tourism Degree, or similar).
- High customer orientation and teamwork skills.
- A high level of English is required.
- A proactive and dynamic approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of the Opera property management system.
- Residence in the area of influence.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in a second language such as French or German is valued.
