About the Role
The Night Auditor will handle nightly financial audits, balance reports, and guest interactions during overnight shifts, maintaining operational integrity between evening and morning teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audit procedures on financial transactions
- Verify accuracy of daily revenue reports
- Balance cash drawers and prepare bank deposits
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues after hours
- Assist with check-ins and check-outs during night shifts
- Monitor security cameras and ensure property safety
- Communicate important overnight events to day staff
- Process room charges and adjust billing as needed
- Generate occupancy and financial summaries
- Support front desk operations during peak times
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and financial data
- Follow established accounting protocols
- Assist with wake-up call services
- Handle emergency situations according to policy
- Ensure front office cleanliness and organization
