Position Overview
This role focuses on advancing engagement with healthcare providers (HCPs) in the central nervous system (CNS) therapeutic area. As a trusted resource, the specialist delivers clinically relevant information about approved treatments and conditions, using a mix of in-person, virtual, and digital outreach methods. The goal is to support informed decision-making and improve patient outcomes through education and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage HCPs directly to discuss product access, on-label use, and patient care guidelines.
- Use digital platforms and virtual tools to maintain consistent, compliant communication.
- Guide customers to appropriate internal contacts, such as Customer Service Specialists, when additional support is needed.
- Organize and lead speaker programs and local provider forums to foster peer discussion on treatment experiences and outcomes.
- Collect and share feedback from the field with the Area Business Lead to shape local strategy and market planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine outreach approaches and align with business objectives.
- Translate field insights into actionable steps that support both patient care and commercial goals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; 4+ years in HCP-facing sales roles preferred.
- Experience in commercial life sciences with cross-functional collaboration.
- Background in CNS, psychiatry, or ADHD is advantageous, especially in product launches or new indications.
- Ability to interpret and convey complex clinical data clearly and accurately.
- Strong commitment to compliance, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Proven experience mentoring or coaching others in a professional setting.
- Comfort operating in evolving, fast-paced environments.
- Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record and live within 50 miles of the primary territory city.
Work Environment
This position blends in-person visits, virtual meetings, and digital engagement. Local presence is required, with travel within the territory. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary based on geographic needs.
