Position Overview: The Neuroscience Specialist plays a key role in advancing care within the central nervous system (CNS) space by engaging healthcare providers (HCPs) across a defined region. Using a mix of in-person visits, virtual meetings, and digital tools, this professional ensures HCPs receive timely, compliant information about treatment options and patient care guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and maintain proactive outreach to healthcare providers, focusing on product access, clinical data, and therapeutic area insights
- Deliver clear, accurate, and on-label product information tailored to the needs of individual clinicians
- Coordinate speaker-led programs and facilitate peer discussions among provider groups to share real-world experiences and outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine outreach strategies based on frontline feedback and local market dynamics
- Direct customer inquiries to appropriate internal resources, including support specialists, when needed
- Collect and share insights from field interactions to help shape local business planning and patient support initiatives
- Adapt engagement approaches using business intelligence and sales data to improve targeting and effectiveness
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with at least 4 years of direct sales experience engaging healthcare providers
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical information clearly and accurately
- Experience working cross-functionally in commercial life sciences or a related field
- Comfort operating in evolving environments with shifting priorities and strategic direction
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and regulatory compliance in all business activities
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel locally; overnight travel may be required based on territory needs
- Residency within 50 miles of the primary territory city is required
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in CNS, psychiatry, or ADHD-focused therapeutic areas
- History of launching new products or supporting new indications
