Role OverviewAs a Neuroscience Specialist, you will serve as a key liaison between healthcare providers and the organization’s central nervous system (CNS) initiatives. Your primary responsibility is to build trusted relationships with providers through in-person, virtual, and digital interactions, ensuring they have access to accurate, on-label information about neuroscience therapies and patient care strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage healthcare professionals using a mix of digital platforms and face-to-face interactions to discuss treatment approaches and product information.
- Direct inquiries to appropriate internal teams when necessary, including customer support roles, to ensure timely resolution.
- Collect and share feedback from providers to inform local business planning and improve engagement quality.
- Organize and lead speaker programs and provider forums to foster peer-to-peer learning and clinical discussion.
- Collaborate with regional leaders to identify trends, share insights, and refine outreach strategies.
- Work within compliance guidelines to adjust call plans and targeting based on real-world input and market dynamics.
- Support the implementation of local strategies by translating field insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Conduct outreach on topics such as treatment access, clinical guidance, and product use in alignment with approved indications.
Qualifications
Candidates must have at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with four or more years in a customer-facing healthcare sales role preferred. A background in CNS, psychiatry, or ADHD is advantageous, especially with experience launching new products or indications. You must reside within 50 miles of the primary territory city and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Success in this role requires the ability to interpret and convey complex clinical data, operate effectively in evolving environments, and uphold strict compliance with regulatory and company standards. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential for working across teams and engaging providers meaningfully.
Work Environment
This position operates across Naperville, Chicago, and Plainfield, IL, combining in-person visits with virtual and digital outreach. Some overnight travel may be required based on territory needs. The role supports a flexible, hybrid model focused on maximizing provider engagement while maintaining compliance and strategic alignment.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $107,362 to $166,750, plus incentive potential.
