Role Overview

This position focuses on building trusted relationships with healthcare providers (HCPs) to advance understanding of neuroscience therapeutics and improve patient outcomes. As a field-based specialist, you will serve as a key resource on product information, clinical guidance, and access support, ensuring HCPs have the tools needed to make informed treatment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate regular, compliant interactions with HCPs through in-person visits, virtual meetings, and digital platforms to discuss treatment options, product use, and patient management strategies.
  • Deliver clear, balanced presentations using approved materials, clinical studies, and product data to support medical decision-making.
  • Coordinate educational speaker programs and facilitate peer discussions among local provider groups to share real-world insights and clinical experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to refine targeting strategies based on market feedback, sales trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Channel customer inquiries appropriately to support functions such as reimbursement assistance or patient access services.
  • Collect and report local market insights to help shape territory planning and strategic priorities.
  • Educate office staff on payer policies and reimbursement processes to improve patient onboarding and treatment continuity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards to effectively address questions and concerns.
  • Identify and engage with professional networks and potential key opinion leaders within the territory to expand reach and awareness.
  • Use business analytics and sales data to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and adjust outreach tactics accordingly.

Qualifications

Applicants must have at least two years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales and a proven ability to communicate complex clinical information to healthcare professionals. A minimum of four years in HCP-facing sales roles, preferably with a portfolio of multiple products, is required. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the primary territory city and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record. Experience in CNS, psychiatry, or ADHD is preferred, as is a track record launching new products or indications.

Work Environment

This role blends field-based outreach with virtual engagement, requiring regular travel within the territory. The position operates in a dynamic, evolving commercial environment where adaptability and compliance are essential. You will work cross-functionally to align local activities with broader business goals while maintaining a strong focus on patient-centered care.
