Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable IT infrastructure solutions while maintaining existing systems
- Collaborate with IT staff to ensure secure and efficient network operations that align with business goals
- Diagnose and resolve issues affecting network and server performance
- Enhance the speed and reliability of network and server environments
- Introduce and integrate emerging technologies to support changing organizational requirements
- Refine and enforce IT policies and procedures to strengthen system security and operational efficiency
- Oversee a full range of network and security tools including Checkpoint, Fortinet, Sentinel One, Tenable.io, and Automox, along with managing system updates and security patches across all Tesco systems such as endpoints and servers
- Administer network monitoring tools and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms
- Handle network administration tasks such as configuring firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and router and switch settings
- Maintain and configure endpoint security settings and enforcement policies
- Ensure adherence to regulations related to cybersecurity, data privacy, and business continuity
- Develop and maintain dashboards for IT infrastructure monitoring and deliver periodic reports
- Oversee the rollout of new hardware and software products
- Escalate technical or operational issues to senior leadership including the Infrastructure Manager, PMO, and Head of IT
- Serve as the main point of contact for escalated IT support matters from Tesco IT
- Maintain compliance with cybersecurity, business continuity, and data privacy regulations
