Hyundai Autoever America is hiring a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization’s network infrastructure. You will ensure seamless connectivity, optimal performance, and robust security while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address network-related challenges and implement best practices.
What You'll Do
- Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and wireless networks.
- Implement and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and other issues.
- Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to implement network security measures.
- Participate in capacity planning and network expansion efforts.
- Evaluate and integrate new networking technologies and solutions.
- Respond to and resolve network incidents and service disruptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
- Install, maintain, and configure Cisco routers/switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Monitor and resolve LAN/WAN performance, health, and security issues.
- Install, maintain, and configure all wireless networks and voice & data communication circuits.
- Perform disaster recovery, backup, and restores of network systems.
- Implement policies to ensure the security and integrity of the network.
- Ensure Change Management and other procedures are followed.
- Maintain a current inventory of all Network assets.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in MIS or Computer Science (preferred).
- At least 7 years of experience as a network engineer.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), and technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, or other major providers.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Cisco DNA, Cisco Prime, Progress What's Up Gold, Manage Engine OpUtils, Stealthwatch).
- Basic knowledge of network security principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Required certification: CCNP Routing and Switching.
Nice to Have
- Preferred certifications: CCNP Wireless or CCNP Voice.
- Any other related networking certifications.

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary Range: $75,880 - $108,500
