Blue Wireless is hiring a Network Support Engineer

About the Role

As a Network Support Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining the performance and reliability of enterprise wireless networks. You'll serve as the first point of contact for global customers, diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues through voice, email, and ticketing systems. Your responsibilities include managing end-to-end incident resolution in alignment with service level agreements, ensuring minimal downtime and consistent service quality.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and resolve network connectivity problems for enterprise clients using remote tools and communication platforms
  • Configure and deploy routers, switches, and wireless access points, including LTE/5G and satellite-based systems
  • Conduct technical testing and provide real-time support across global time zones via messaging and conference calls
  • Create and maintain detailed network documentation to support ongoing operations and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with engineers in different regions to address complex network malfunctions and improve system reliability

Requirements

  • Firm grasp of IP networking, including routing protocols and network configuration
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot basic network issues and communicate solutions clearly in written and verbal English
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to manage technical cases from initiation to resolution
  • Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week on a fixed schedule—either 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM—including occasional weekends
  • Critical thinking and a commitment to continuous learning in networking technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications from Cisco or Juniper
  • Experience with Peplink, HP Aruba switching, or Extreme WiFi products
  • Working knowledge of LTE/5G and satellite connectivity solutions such as Starlink
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a strong advantage
