What You'll Do
Own the end-to-end lifecycle of network infrastructure, from initial deployment to ongoing operations across physical facilities and cloud environments. Configure and maintain core networking components including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Implement secure remote access through VPN technologies such as GlobalProtect and site-to-site IPsec tunnels.
Design and operate an SD-WAN architecture to improve connectivity and reliability. Support networking needs for cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, including VPCs, Direct Connect, and VPN gateways. Enable networking for containerized workloads running in Kubernetes environments, ensuring proper CNI, ingress, and service routing.
Automate provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi. Troubleshoot complex issues involving routing, DNS, DHCP, and performance across LAN, WAN, and cloud networks. Work directly with internet service providers to manage circuit provisioning, redundancy, and uptime.
Install and maintain physical network hardware—rack and stack equipment, run cabling, and coordinate with low-voltage vendors. Support facility systems that rely on network connectivity, including security cameras, access control, and IoT devices. Maintain comprehensive documentation, monitoring, and runbooks to ensure operational consistency.
