NeoGenomics is looking for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to drive scientific exchange and education for our oncology products. In this role, you will build relationships with academic and community physicians to advance our mission of improving patient care.
What You'll Do
- Identify, develop and maintain strong relationships with academic and community physicians, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), research leaders, and other healthcare providers.
- Facilitate knowledge and education of relevant medical and scientific content and NeoGenomics’ products to oncologists and internal teams.
- Develop strong client engagement through phone conferences, webinars, speaker engagements, continuing medical education, and site visits.
- Provide updates on new scientific publications, market intelligence, and medical knowledge.
- Participate in call center coverage for physician report and assay inquiries.
- Present in person or virtually within your assigned field territory and at tumor boards.
- Collaborate with various internal departments including sales, marketing, client services, accessioning, billing, legal, and managed care.
- Participate in medical updates, scientific presentations, journal clubs, and meetings as a primary clinical resource.
- Support marketing in developing training materials for other MSLs and the clinical sales team.
- Proactively work on territory objectives to help retain NGS and MRD business and capture new opportunities.
- Adhere to company core values, safety, compliance, and all policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- An advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, PA, GC, or hematopathology).
- 5+ years of direct MSL experience.
- Understanding of oncology, biomarkers, clinical guidelines, and molecular testing.
- Knowledge of laboratory NGS and MRD workflows.
- Ability to communicate and present on complex scientific topics and concepts.
- Experience educating and training healthcare providers and internal employees.
- Scientific and technical experience in the field of oncology, NGS, and MRD.
- Excellent knowledge of the development and use of molecular diagnostics for oncology.
- Ability to work effectively with different personality types.
- Comfortable asking questions to understand physician needs.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and comfortable presenting data.
- Organized, self-driven, and a passionate team player.

Work Mode
This is a local, field-based position open to candidates in Orlando, Miami, and Tampa.
