Unilever Food Solutions (UFS) is hiring a National Accounts Manager - Distribution Execution to reshape how we go to market. In this role, you'll be a critical part of the Corporate Distribution team, developing execution strategies and playbooks primarily through national distributors to drive reach, demand, and ambitious street growth.
What You'll Do
- Drive the execution evolution with an entrepreneurial mindset, rethinking strategy through a multi-lever approach using our Field Sales Team and national distributors.
- Deliver industry-leading growth in key categories, focusing on street growth and efficient demand generation.
- Co-develop Annual/Quarterly Execution Plans and execute national joint business plans aligning customer needs with strategic priorities.
- Develop execution playbooks with clear goals, measurable KPIs, and appropriate tools and resources to optimize field execution.
- Leverage newly acquired data tools to arm the organization with insights for performance understanding and decision-making.
- Influence and hold the Field Sales team accountable for Execution Plan delivery, tracking KPIs quarterly and collaborating on new success pathways.
- Establish UFS as a valued National Brand Supplier partner known for best-in-class execution, data insights, and flawless field sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the development and enablement of Execution Plan activities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in Foodservice sales.
- Demonstrated sales success with Foodservice Tier 1 distribution and execution through direct field sales or brokers.
- Experience in annual/quarterly Execution Plan development and execution.
- Strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills, able to influence and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven with strong analytic skills to make decisions guiding Execution Plan development.
- Ability to effectively partner with and influence various levels of management internally and externally.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel spreadsheets and building sales reporting tools.
- Familiarity with systems such as Blacksmith/Forge, Salesforce, and Power BI.
- Ability to build compelling storytelling decks in PowerPoint.
- Financial acumen with a clear understanding of P&L.
- Ability to travel around 25% of the time.
