Careers at Salesforce is hiring a Named Account Executive to manage a select portfolio of existing key accounts within the Retail and Consumer Goods sector headquartered in Germany. You will leverage consultative selling to drive C-level engagements, build customer-centric teams, and evangelize AI-powered Salesforce solutions to foster significant account growth.
What You'll Do
- Own responsibility for a few selected key Retail & Consumer Goods accounts in Germany.
- Coordinate teams within a matrix organization to ensure one Salesforce vision, a seamless customer experience, and account growth.
- Engage with C-Level decision-makers using strategic value-based selling, visionary points of view, business case definition, ROI analysis, and relevant data.
- Drive significant coordination among internal groups including Sales Engineers, Specialists, Marketing, Business Development, Professional Services, Strategy Partners, Executives, and Partners to execute a cohesive account strategy.
- Work with Partners to ensure successful delivery of contracted business solutions and technical implementations.
- Own additional key initiatives for the Salesforce Retail & Consumer Goods sector.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members.
What We're Looking For
- A consistent track record of selling complex enterprise software or technology solutions to C-level executives within Enterprise-size accounts.
- Ability to convey leadership and confidence via a communication style adapted to the audience, such as a top-down approach for C-level.
- Demonstrated experience in defining and executing account strategies for large accounts, balancing long-term vision with annual quota planning.
- Proven ability to thrive and perform effectively in high-paced, high-pressure settings and under uncertainty.
- Experience designing and running strategic workshops, drafting compelling strategic Points of View (POVs), and orchestrating their delivery within a complex account setup.
- A natural excitement for industry trends and a strong ability to build a compelling narrative around digital transformation within Retail and Consumer Goods.
- Ability to deliver accurate sales forecasts and consistently achieve revenue goals.
- Fluency in both German and English.
