REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 10+ years.
• Deep knowledge of MongoDB database administration.
• Strong understanding of MongoDB architecture and internals.
• Experience with backup/restore, replica set, sharding, and patching/upgrades.
• Hands-on with Ops Manager for MongoDB monitoring and management.
• Proven experience in the banking/financial services domain is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Good understanding of Agile practices and modern automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
• Extensive experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL HA, clustering, and monitoring tools.
• Proficient in backup/restore, performance tuning, and diagnostics.
• Good knowledge of SQL and PG PL/SQL.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer, monitor, and optimize MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery across environments.
• Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations.
• Implement and manage security best practices, logging, and auditing.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently.
• Automate database administration tasks using Bash/Python/Ansible.
• Handle backup/restore, upgrades, replication, sharding, and performance tuning.
• Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) for critical applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
