The Multi-site EHS Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is responsible for delivering effective environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) leadership across multiple facilities on a data center campus. This role ensures compliance with federal and California EH&S regulations, implements safety programs, and supports site management in maintaining safe working conditions while protecting personnel and property.
What You'll Do
- Implement comprehensive EH&S programs and initiatives that comply with regulatory requirements and promote employee participation and accountability.
- Provide guidance and support to site management, program owners, and site personnel across multiple facilities on a data center campus.
- Ensure compliance with EH&S requirements through the design, organization, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and programs.
- Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using Safe Standards of Work, best management practices, and analytical techniques.
- Develop and conduct training in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Assist sites in performing workplace hazard assessments, job safety analysis, and safe work procedures.
- Conduct safety inspections and/or audits and consult on corrective actions to mitigate known hazards.
- Collect data, provide information and reports as needed to support the client’s compliance programs.
- Lead EH&S investigations related to incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and develop corrective actions for the prevention of future incidents.
- Monitor recordkeeping and reporting performance for risk related requirements and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 4500.1 and 1400.1 and appropriate site and business specific programs are implemented, documented and standardized to effectively and efficiently meet legal requirements.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years experience working with Health and Safety compliance and management systems.
- A strong understanding of the EH&S regulatory requirements for California.
- Proficient in ISO 1400.1 and 4500.1 standards.
- Knowledge of safety requirements, fundamentals of safety education, industrial safety, risk management, and the application of data automation to the safety function.
- Good work ethic and interpersonal skills with ability to work in a fast paced organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work well with others at all levels and across organizations.
- Must be able to get results through others without having direct reports.
- Ability to speak in front of a large audience and deliver in person and remote EH&S training effectively.
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and software such as MS Office programs, Outlook, etc.
Nice to Have
- BA degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- ASP or CSP Certification.

Compensation: 115,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year
Work Mode
Onsite in San Jose, CA. Extended travel is not routine; however, the candidate may be asked to travel as needed to support sites outside of their respective campus.
