Responsibilities
- Build and sustain a skilled team able to deliver up to 20 Work Authorization Orders, including required port setups and equipment configurations.
- Oversee MAC operations within the Department of Defense accreditation framework, covering equipment relocations, port toggling, VLAN expansions, and secure VPN setups.
- Uphold compliance with service-level agreements and user contracts for Home Kits, Flyaway Kits, and Travel Kits managed by JSP, ensuring all actions stay within defined scope.
- Partner with the Contracting Officer’s Representative or Alternate COR to validate technical approaches and cost projections for MAC activities.
- Follow formal change control procedures to manage MACs through service tickets, supporting installations, activations, updates, enhancements, or shutdowns for voice, video, and data systems.
- Investigate repeated service issues through root-cause analysis and report findings in the monthly MAC performance summary.
- Maintain a visible MAC request tracking system accessible to clients and government monitors to ensure accountability and real-time progress updates.
- Orchestrate all change requests related to adding, removing, or altering systems, adhering to established change and configuration management protocols.
- Generate monthly summaries outlining executed Moves, Adds, and Changes, including site locations, schedules, and completion status.
- Respond to out-of-scope customer inquiries, including those requiring Engineering Change Proposals for new initiatives.
- Deliver specialized support for Voice MACs, such as provisioning phone lines, deploying handsets, and transitioning from TDM to VoIP infrastructure as needed.
