As a Mortgage Servicing Operations Analyst I, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency and compliance of mortgage servicing operations through data-driven automation and reporting. You'll collaborate with business teams to design and maintain communication templates, develop scripts to streamline processes, and generate actionable insights from complex datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain automation scripts to support servicing operations and reduce manual effort.
- Use SQL to monitor servicing data, uncover risks, and support proactive decision-making.
- Generate standard and custom reports to track performance, identify trends, and support business objectives.
- Build and update interactive dashboards in Power BI for daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to identify root causes of discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Support compliance by monitoring for suspicious activity and adhering to BSA/AML, OFAC, and privacy regulations.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, working independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications
You should have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Experience with SQL, JavaScript, and Power BI is essential. You must be comfortable working with databases and spreadsheets, analyzing operational data, and presenting findings clearly.
A self-motivated mindset is critical—you should be able to take direction and execute tasks with minimal oversight. While prior experience in mortgage servicing is not required, a strong interest in financial operations and process improvement is expected.
