Fischer Homes is looking for a Mortgage Loan Processor to ensure the accuracy and compliance of loan applications and closing documents while providing exceptional customer service. You will join a culture that celebrates wins and talented Associates, described as a 'Victory Family'.
What You'll Do
- Perform timely reviews of conditions submitted and loan resubmissions.
- Provide exemplary customer service by explaining credit decisions and offering alternative options.
- Verify and examine the information and accuracy of loan application and closing documents.
- Answer questions and advise customers regarding loans and transactions.
- Review all pre-closing requirements such as contracts, hazard insurance, and flood certifications.
- Review pre-audit and closing conditions, clear all closing conditions, and authorize loan funding.
- Upon loan approval, notify the borrowers and appropriate personnel.
- Prepare Commitment letters, denial letters, and cancel files when necessary.
- In preparation for closing, prepare closing instructions, follow-up contingencies, and verify lock information.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2-3 years of mortgage loan processing experience.
- Experience with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac processing.
- Experience Processing FHA, USDA, and VA Loans.
- Knowledge of Automated Underwriting systems (LP & DU).
- Detail-minded with good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good computer skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
