Guide clients and partners through the mortgage journey by serving as the primary contact for borrowers and real estate professionals. You’ll originate loans within your assigned territory, cultivating lasting relationships with realtors, builders, and financial partners to grow your pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct member interviews, gather financial details, and submit accurate loan applications through the digital lending platform
- Review applications for completeness and support timely processing by coordinating with internal teams
- Deliver required disclosures, including the Good Faith Estimate and Truth-in-Lending statements, within 72 hours of application
- Explain loan terms clearly to clients and assist with next steps through to closing
- Stay current on mortgage regulations, market trends, and underwriting guidelines
- Ensure compliance with federal and state lending laws, including the Bank Secrecy Act
- Promote additional financial services to deepen member relationships
Qualifications
A two-year degree or equivalent vocational training is required, along with at least two years of experience in mortgage origination. Familiarity with FNMA Desktop Underwriter, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and PC Lender systems is preferred.
