As a Mobile Mortgage Specialist Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting mortgage specialists by managing credit administration tasks, processing applications, and ensuring accurate documentation. This part-time, hybrid position allows you to work primarily from home while collaborating closely with mortgage professionals and internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, and process client documents following initial consultations, ensuring compliance with internal and industry standards
- Support the credit application lifecycle by maintaining accurate records and meeting processing timelines
- Respond to customer inquiries and clarify mortgage product details, escalating complex cases when necessary
- Maintain strong relationships with internal partners and contribute to a seamless customer journey
- Apply bank policies and procedures accurately while identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Stay current with the full range of mortgage products and services to provide informed support
- Collaborate with administrative teams to advance credit decisions and support sales objectives
- Participate in training, team meetings, and performance development activities to strengthen team capabilities
- Uphold professional conduct in line with organizational values and compliance requirements
Qualifications and Skills
You bring at least one year of experience in a client-facing or administrative role, with direct exposure to mortgage or credit lending processes. You’re proficient with MS Office tools—Word, Excel, and PowerPoint—and comfortable using technology to manage multi-step transactions efficiently.
Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently are essential. You manage your time effectively, meet deadlines consistently, and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers. You’re adaptable to variable hours, including evenings and weekends, to support client needs.
Work Environment and Development

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $23.37 to $31.20 CAD per hour, with variable pay based on performance, skills, experience, and location.
